| The course of true love runs it's
eventful course through this original interpretation of the ever popular Shakespeare
comedy. Happiness confronts duty in a story that portrays the many forms of love in situations that are not too distant from those we find ourselves in now (excepting, perhaps, the enchanted wood). Seen through the age of 1930’s capitalism this production explores what it is to be in love and what it is to tell someone that they are in love. This production is part of a double presentation by Theatre Group marking the first time in which there will be two Theatre Group productions in the same venue and the same semester. The sister show is A Midsummer Night’s Dream. |
