Buddying at Lancaster University

Lancaster University has a variety of Buddy Programmes which can help you to settle in and feel supported. Buddying is an informal, short-term relationship between two students to offer a space to ask questions and get some advice. Buddying is 'light touch' form of support and is different to mentoring or counselling.

Some programmes focus on your welfare, such as settling in and making friends. Some help you to learn more about your department and your subject.
