Calling all SMEs considering graduate recruitment this year…

Rectangular Logo

This event, which offers the valuable opportunity to engage with potential graduate employees from Lancaster University, will be held in the Management School Hub between 3pm and 6pm on Weds 30th April 2014.

We have a limited number of exhibition slots available for free at the event; if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please complete the form HERE and return it to no later than noon on Wednesday 23rd April.

As this event is a collaboration between Lancaster University Careers, Lancaster University Enterprise Centre, Lancaster Entrepreneurs Society and the National Association of College & University Entrepreneurs (NACUE), the focus is very much on entrepreneurialism within SMEs.

We anticipate that it will raise awareness amongst Lancaster students of Northwest SMEs as a source of potential employment, highlight the value of entrepreneurial skills and behaviours to potential employers and provide inspiration to some to consider launching their own entrepreneurial ventures.

For further enquiries, please contact

The event will be held in LUMS Hub.  In additional to the exhibitor stands there will be two facilitated panel discussion to help you learn as much as possible from the SME owners in attendance:

  • Entrepreneurs Panel:  3:30-4:30pm, hosted by LU Enterprise Team – to highlight the various journeys real entrepreneurs have taken to raise start-up finance, overcome barriers, capitalise on existing skills and develop new ones.
  • Pitching Panel:  5-6pm, hosted by LU Entrepreneurs Society – to provide five aspiring entrepreneurs from Lancaster University with the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a panel and get their feedback on the ideas and the pitch.
