George Bernard Shaw's Major Barbara

Task B - Initial impressions

When we move onto 'Analysing Major Barbara' we will want you to look, one at a time, at the turn-taking structure of the extract.

First of all, though, discuss with your partner your intuitions concerning how you see the power relation between the two characters, and point out anything else in terms of their relationship which you think might be relevant or interesting. Jot down anything that occurs to you as evidence for your views, and then compare your views with ours.
