Task C - our comments

the two hearts beating each to each

/ðə tu: hɑ:ts bi:tɪŋ ɪ:ʧ tu: ɪ:ʧ/

The main point here is the sound repetition induced by the repetition of the word 'each', which appears to symbolise the 'mirror image' effect of the hearts of the two lovers symbolically beating in time with each other and in close proximity.
