as out . up to rude cable. which touches
the vaulting. Below. the bricks are seen
constructing the fine pointed arch: the
ogee is traced with a dentil inside
and filled up with Pisan like ornaments
in brick: finally a bold dentil string
occurs as a sub arch moulding. quite
new to me.

Side aisles
The lancet arches which terminate
them into the transepts are
most beautiful for Italian Gothic
and very peculiar , as opp A. general
effect there must be from 90 -100 [diagram] on each
side.
The arches of entrance to the six chapels
behind the choir: and the four main
arches across transepts are all drawn with
this section. which has a fine deep
cut early English look - only the four
main arches only have the [drawing] and
the small chapel arches have bold
dentils
Where the two mouldings of the main
cross arches meet. both are continuous
down the vaulting shafts. from the
point b in section opposite -with
their modifications on side next choir
