St Maurizio. p 51 l, Housebook 2.  Only the back of it remains        
of any interest.   The church was burned down in 1105,                (6)  Carmini. 1290  (prima dei frati Carmelitani)
and (soon after)? re-built. duro la nuova fabbrica fine               	1290	"Dal saper decorata questa chiesa nel 1290 da Nicolo
verso il fine del XVI secolo, and was rebuilt 1590                    		4th d’indulgenze", one knows that about this time its foundations must have 		been laid.  Consecrated 1348.
Zanotto.                                                              		Interior interesting.
                                                                      		I should put this church earlier, owing to its traceries.
                                                                      		which however are closely correspondent with those of the
                                                                      		apse of San Stefano.

                                                                      		The immense difference in date and style between the
                                                                      		naves and the doors of St Stefano and the Frari is never
                                                                      		noticed in this book.
I cannot but think the cloister must be of the 1342                   (8) 1388.	St Alvise   (di San Lodovico vescovo di Tolosa)
date, but there was another restoration in the latter                 		- Gothic - built about 1388 by the matron Antonia
part of the 15th century by the Abbot Bartolomeo Paruta.              		Venier, Cannot find it in map.
Selvatico gives the early date vid p 103, and conf  Academy           		nave Gothic must be looked after.
