sharp and another truncated. The tracery is the same on
both sides; and its shaft heads have same section as that
of G. but with a magnificent flow of leafage nobly under-
cut, and heads all fine and well felt lateral half shafts
here also. Lions heads above placed over the cavette of
tracery as at A fig 3 very grand: and the whole thing
well done.

arch: but I have never yet seen so shallow a dentil
instead of compare this with the deep dentil of
Ca’ d’oro Pil heads Kp leafage as centre,
less firmly cut, and thus in one story, there are three
different kinds of workmanship - centre best - this next -
and G. of fig 1 worst.
Upper story: Lombard pillars: beautifully pure and
simple, head A. with beds for roses: Pil B. cabled simply
on angle: but the Kp pil of Fig 3 has a small capital to
its cable.
Ca Pisani No 48. From the main story of Palazzo Pisani A.below but B

have now no cusps, whether cut away or not I cannot tell
