sharp and another truncated. The tracery is the same
on both sides; and its shaft heads have same section as
that of G. but with a magnificent flow of leafage
nobly undercut, and heads all fine and well felt
- lateral half shafts here also. Lions heads above
placed over the cavetto of tracery as at A fig 3 very
grand: and the whole thing well done.

but I have never yet seen so shallow a dentil [diagram] instead
of [diagram]. Compare this with the deep dentil of Ca’ d’oro.

Upper story: Lombard pillars: beautifully pure & simple
- head A. with buds for roses: Pil B. cabled simply
on angle: but the Kp pil of Fig 3 has a small
capital to its cable.
