Lake Lucerne

One of Turner 's Swiss watercolours of 1842, but difficult to identify precisely: probably either Lake Lucerne: Bay of Uri from above Brunnen (Private Collection, Wilton 1526) or Brunnen, Lake Lucerne (Private Collection, Wilton 1527), which belonged to Ruskin 's friend and neighbour Elhanan Bicknell.
