Rise and Grind gamers,
It’s ya boi Mo, let’s get this newsletter. Hoping everyone’s doing aight with revision and exams. Also, yes, this is a redo of this week’s newsletter because ISS didn’t like all the links to all the memes that I put in the first one so they marked it as spam. Gamers truly are the most oppressed group (it’s a joke, don’t hurt me). So, yeah. I guess it’s rewind time.
Luckily for you spicy members, we’ve got a host of events that ISS can’t mark as spam for you this week to keep you distracted from revision. (Also if someone from ISS is reading this, please don’t take that last statement as a challenge and mark this email as spam, I’m sorry.) The events that we’ve got this week are as follows:
Smash Weeklies – Monday, BNSR 12, 6pm. We play smash semi-competitively here. It’s fun and I would highly recommend coming over.
Pendle Games Night – Tuesday, Pendle Bar, 7pm. We’ve got the first Pendle Games Night of the term and we’ll be joined by some other societies such as Senet and LUMAS (hopefully). This is also fun and I would highly recommend coming over.
County Social – Well, it’s a bit weird at the moment but let’s say Friday, County Bar at 8pm. Now, stop me if you’ve heard this one before but, this is also fun (believe it or not) and I would still highly recommend coming over.
Also, something that I forgot to mention was that you lucky sonny Jims get a discount for this year’s Bailrigg, number 8 to be exact, on the 22nd of June in Barker House Farm. More info on that will be available in due time. But until then, enjoy this spicy discount code REDACTED to not have to pay the venue fee. You can even get a ticket for it now here https://smash.gg/tournament/bailrigg-8-1. I suppose while I’m here, I can push Alton Towers again so here you go https://lancastersu.co.uk/groups/gaming-and-esports-society/events/alton-towers-trip-477a
Finally, the random fact for this week, done epic gamer style: Fortnite is way better than Minecraft Hunger Games mode. Don’t @ me.
Alright, that’s all from me. Stay fresh, cheesebags. Mo – LUGES General Secretary and secretly Aidan in disguise but this time, spelt correctly
