Poro Drawing Contest

The following people had entered their drawings depicting one or more poros, a character from League of Legends. Members then voted on the drawing that they liked the most, with each member only being allowed one vote.

Matt Harrison (3 votes)

  • The drawing depicted multiple poros.
  • The poros in this drawing are missing their horns and feet.
  • One of the poros only had one eye, making it a “cyclops” according to the artist.
    • This also resulted in that particular poro having no depth perception according to the artist.
    • One or more poros were also described by the artist as being the “wrong way around”.

Mubarak Salawu (2 votes)

  • The artist named the poro depicted in his drawing “El Poro”.
  • The artist stated that he does not play League of Legends nor does he know what a poro is.
    • The artist encouraged members to vote for him regardless “for the meme”.

Katie Stevenson (5 votes)

  • Depicted a “kawaii” poro.
  • The artist states that the poro “loves you”.
    • Poro has a heart emote.
  • The artist depicted poro depicted wearing a hat that at least one member claimed to not be canon in the League of Legends universe.
    • It was later discovered that Matt Harrison had plagiarised this hat, depicting one of his poros wearing this hat in his drawing.

Milo Collins (3 votes)

  • The artist stated that he had never seen a poro.

Kieran Stringer (1 vote)

  • The artist’s drawing was displayed upside-down due to an error by the Committee.
    • The artist claims that the poro is “probably in space”.
  • Drawing also potentially depicts a poro king leading his poro minion.

The winner of the poro drawing competition was Katie Stevenson with 5 votes.
