Hello there gamers,
Let’s give it up for Week 27 everyone. Just a little bit more and we can all finally go home. But until then, you’re stuck with me and my god-awful newsletters so let’s just jump into it. But right before we do, a big shout out to everyone that came to the LAN on Saturday. It was, as the kids say, lit. So, if you missed it, you’re gonna have to wait till the Freshers LAN next academic year, sorry not sorry. Also, congrats to Katie Stevenson for winning the poro drawing competition. She even managed to beat my super-amazing drawing so gg there.
And the all-star (Shrek not included) line-up for this week:
Pendle Games Night – Tuesday, 7 pm, Pendle Bar. We’ve got Rockband and other games going on and, as a bonus cause you’ve all been so good, we’ve kidnapped Senet so now they’ll be coming to the social as well. Is it ethical or legal? Of course not. But it is effective and that’s good enough for us.
Smash Weeklies – Wednesday, 6 pm, BNSR 21. My favourite Smash character is the yellow jelly baby, who’s yours?
County Social – Friday, 8 pm, County Bar. There’s going to be Smash, a bar, Jackbox, a bar. There’ll also be a bar there too, might have forgotten to mention that.
Fact of the Week: So, while I was googling to double check that the yellow jelly baby was a thing before I put it in the newsletter, so I don’t look like a fool (again), I found out that they’ve all got names and the yellow one is genuinely called Bubbles, which is also my tag.
