Hello again everyone. Just like I said last week, I’m back again this week with the second letter of the term. And my 9th last newsletter. Not that I’m counting down the days or anything. Let’s get to the news for the week.
Smash Weeklies – Monday, 6 pm – 10 pm, BNSR 18. Come on down, we’ve got Smash Bros. Everyone loves Smash Bros., right? Unless…
Fighting Games Weeklies – Wednesday, 6 pm – 10 pm, BNSR 8. We’re trying something new with a weekly event completely focused around fighting games (that aren’t Smash Bros.). Come on over if you’re a fan of fighting games or just want to try something new (that isn’t Smash Bros.). And who knows? Maybe we’ll change the name too if we come up with something better.
County Social –Tuesday, 8 pm – 10 pm, County Bar. We’ll have all sorts of games for you to play. Society fun for everyone but only if you come. Please come. Please?
Bailrigg 10 – February 22nd, all day from 9 am. Yep, we’ve got Bailrigg 10 coming up. Bailrigg is a big Smash Bros. tournament that anyone can enter so tell your friends about it. Lent LAN 1 – February 8th, 12 pm – 3 am, BNSR 9, 10, 11. “But Mo,” I hear you all ask. “Why are you mentioning the LAN this early?” Well, voices in my head, it’s because this LAN is our AGM which really just means that it’s time for a new LUGES Committee. Fact of the Week: Finding interesting facts about gaming is becoming very difficult now because everything interesting I find ends up being political and I’m not trying to start anything. Sad times.
