Welcome to the last newsletter that I’m going to be sending out. Normally, I’d just make some joke about the events on this week but due to Covid-19, there aren’t going to be any events for next week. Sorry, everyone. Also, be sure to wash your hands and stuff, you know the drill by now.
Instead, I’ll use this opportunity to thank every one of you for allowing me to give back to the society that’s given so much to me since my first year of Uni. It’s no secret that the Society has had it’s ups and downs but honestly, I wouldn’t have spent the past two years any other way. LUGES has introduced me to some genuinely amazing people and helped me make some of the best friends that I will probably ever have. It also helped me get through some dark times and created some of the best memories that I’ll have. Despite the jokes made (most being made by myself), I do love the Society and can’t thank the membership enough for helping make the Society what it is. I’m going to miss you guys.
