Esports

19:14 – Slight issue with an Esports member but it should be resolved now.

Alternative days for weekly socials

19:16 – Weekly Socials will now be moved to Friday as this appears to be the most requested day (within reason) for the social as other days would clash with other societies.

Alternative Co-op Couch games

19:22 – Potentially introducing more co-op, less competitive games for weekly socials. This possible list includes:

  • Super Mario Odyssey – Switch
  • Broforce – PC and Switch
  • Duck Game – PC, PS4, Switch
  • Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime – PC and Switch

Rockband Social

19:28 – Will most likely have two Pendle Rockband Socials over this term, still in the process of deciding best dates. Will most likely have them earlier in the term to avoid clashes during exam period.

LANs

19:28 – Will most likely have two LANs this term, not entirely sure on the dates of these yet.

Discord Policy

19:32 – Created a new Discord Policy regarding using “@everyone”. Will now send out newsletters on Sunday and then the General Secretary will use @everyone once a week, most likely on Wednesdays, as a quick reminder of the events that we have going on.

Jerseys

19:33 – Will soon decide on a design for the jerseys and submit to Raven.

Events

19:33 – We will now be giving at least two weeks notice for all events so that events aren’t created and advertised at the last minute. Events will also have to be submitted to the General Secretary by 5pm each Wednesday to be added into the newsletter for the next week.

Super Smash Bros. Group

19:34 – Considering merging the Smash Facebook group into the main Society group

Community Rep System

19:36 – Considering getting rid of the community rep system due to it not working as intended.
