Hoodies

James was not present at the meeting to give an update on the status of the hoodies.

Katie stated that her contact for the hoodies had not gotten back to her.

  • Ben suggested that Katie contact them again.

Joined Socials

The Committee realised that they would have joined social with the Mental Health society during Week 18, the same week as the joined social with Senet.

The Committee reiterated the following week’s itinerary as follows:

Week 18

  • Monday Pendle Welfare Games Night
  • Tuesday Mental Health Social (to replace the normal Tuesday Social)

Week 19

  • Friday Joined social with Senet (Ben stated that he would contact Senet to try and move the joined social)

Week 20

  • Friday LUGES Bar crawl (potentially)

New Equipment

The list of equipment that the Society is currently considering acquiring is as follows:

  • 2 Gaming Mice
  • 3 Laptop Cases
  • Xbox Wireless Adapters

Ben stated that he would contact Jack regarding this equipment as he was not present at this meeting.

Pendle Kerfuffle

A Committee member stated that they would be able to supply four monitors to the Mental Health Society despite the Smash Weekly social being held on the same day around the same time.

  • Noah stated that the Smash Weeklies social would be able to manage with only two monitors so the Society would be able to give them to the Mental Health Society for the Pendle Welfare Social.

Mo suggested that the Committee members sign off on messages that they send from the Society page in the future to avoid confusion.

Katie also suggested scheduling a different time for the Mental Health Society social.

County Bar

It was stated that the Committee may need to find a new time for the Tuesday County Bar Socials, potentially moving them from 8 pm – 11 pm to 7 pm – 10 pm.

  • Mo stated that the Society also may need to find a new venue for Tuesday Socials.

Henry stated that, from his observations, the bar closes at 10 pm if the bar is not busy and that the Society will have to leave when the bar closes.

Ben suggested contacting the bar owners to get a definitive answer as to where the Society stands regarding that bookable space.

  • Mo agreed to send Katie the bar’s email address so that she would be able to email them regarding this.

Mental Health Social

The question was raised of whether we would be able to provide enough Nintendo Switches for the Mental Health Society.

  • It was stated that Sam Jackson would most likely bring his Switch so this should not be an issue.

Katie stated that everywhere is a place of worship.
