Update on problematic member
Ben apologised for not being at the meeting with the Union.
- Mo and Josh explained that the Society should expect an email regarding the procedures that can be taken against this particular member.
Train tickets:
Josh stated that he is in favour of the Society continuing to pay for a Bailrigg Tournament Organiser, T.O. A’s train tickets for Bailrigg tournaments.
- Josh stated that this would be worth the investment as T.O. A is currently quite helpful in running Bailrigg.
Pendle Booking for Rockband for next term
Katie has yet to confirm a booking with Pendle for next term’s socials.
Hoodies
James stated that he would ask Promotional Gods for another quote regarding the prices for the Society hoodies.
- Ben agreed that the Society would need to make a definitive decision on the supplier for these hoodies as soon as possible.
Alton Towers:
Josh stated that tickets and coaches should be the price as they were last year.
- Josh also stated that he would prefer more involvement from the Union regarding the trip this year, stating that he would prefer having two coaches for the trip so the Society can bring twice as many people.
- This would, however, require the trip to be a joint social with the Union so that the Society would meet the required amount of active Committee members for the trip to legally occur.
Josh suggested amending the Constitution at the next General Meeting to allow for ‘Alton Towers’ roles on the Committee that would remove themselves after the trip has occurred.
Pendle Rockband:
Noah stated that he would be unable to attend this week’s Rockband social.
Fighting Games Weeklies
Ben stated that he would need to ask Sam if he’s satisfied with the way the Weeklies are being run or if there is any change that he would like to see.
Lent LAN 2
The Committee agreed that they need to remind people to run for the currently unfilled roles of President and Esports Coordinator, along with making announcements advertising this.
