Minutes
18:40 – Dota 2 team had ultimately decided that they wanted to play during Roses, however, by the time they had finished playing all the buses back to Lancaster had left.
18:43 – Discussed the motion of whether to reimburse the Dota 2 team for transport back to Lancaster or to refuse to pay and open the matter to a LUSU investigation.
18:45 – It was explained that the Dota 2 team was never given prior permission for accommodation at York during Roses.
18:46 – Esports coordinators explained that they had left the Dota 2 team at Roses under the impression that the Dota 2 team were comfortable playing, and thus staying overnight, at Roses.
18:48 – Considering asking the Union for funding for future equipment due to a committee member’s concerns that we would not be able to afford equipment currently.
18:49 – Considered the repercussions of reimbursing the Dota 2 team and the effect that either action could have for the Society’s image.
18:50 – Committee was informed that Committee members are not allowed to give instructions to other members under the false pretence that the instruction came from any other Committee member.
18:51 – Discussed removing general meetings from the LAN party schedules and having them as their own separate event.
18:56 – Committee vote on the motion of fully reimbursing the Dota 2 team for transport back to Lancaster:

- Abstentions – 1 (Committee member not present)

18:57 – Committee vote on the motion of allowing two-on-one or one-on-one meeting between the President, and potentially, the Vice President and Committee members without having minutes being recorded:

18:59 – Confirmed that there should be approximately nine Committee members available for the LUGES Annual BBQ.
