Committee Handover
General Secretary
It was explained to James that he would need to:
- Be able to access the Society website.
- Update the Committee lists on Society social media.
- Be able to access the Society’s website filestore.
- Change all Society related passwords.
- Be able to book rooms for the society.
Treasurer
- As Katie was not present, Ben asked Josh to ensure that the Treasurer’s responsibilities to Katie.
Esports Coordinator
- Rhys stated that he would be able to get the society on good standing with NSE.
- The Committee agreed that they would need more publicity for the Esports side of the Society.
- Rhys agreed to get the Esports results after the Society’s teams’ matches and help share them for the weekly newsletter.
Publicity Officer
Explained to Henry that he would need to:
- Be able to update Google calendar to ensure that it is up-to-date, in tandem with the General Secretary
- Post as advertisements for Society events as early as possible on the appropriate Society social media.
- Take pictures at socials for the Society’s social media.
Social Secretary
It was explained to Sam that she would need to:
- Be able to contact JCR through email or Facebook to organise social events.
- Be sure to check all the social media for updates with any planned social events.
- Try to come up with new ideas for socials.
Smash and Bailrigg Officer
Noah would be handing over to himself.
Equipment Officer
Jack would be handing over to himself.
Handover of bank signatories
Katie and James will need to be given access to the Society bank account as signatories.
General Committee Training
All new members will need to:
- Learn how to use the website.
- Go through Re-affiliation training through the Union.
- Do their Data protection training through the Union.
- Learn how to use Union Cloud.
Ben also advised the new Committee members to contact LUSU if there is anything more they are unsure about regarding general Committee responsibilities.

- James stated that he got a quote for hoodies and posted this in the new Committee’s Discord chat.
