Good morning gamers. We back at it again with the weekly newsletter so let’s get this bread. First and foremost, I’d like to welcome all our new members to the Gaming and Esports Society and answer the biggest question we’ve gotten from last year: no, the newsletters will not get better, don’t @ me.
In terms of events that we’ve got going on this week, we’ve got:
The Furness Social – Sunday, 7pm – 12am, Furness LT 3. “But wait a minute”, you’re thinking. “That’s happening right now”. Haha yes.
The Pendle Social – Monday, 7pm – 11pm, Pendle Bar. We’ve got Rockband along with other things (probably). Come on over if you like terrible singing and bad songs.
Be Happy w/ Lancaster University SU – Tuesday, 10am – 4pm, LUSU Front Desk. We’ve got an event on with the Students’ Union. It should be fun, and it had better be, cause we’re in there for six hours.
The County Social – Also Tuesday, 8pm – 11pm, County Bar. You want games? We’ve got games.
Freshers’ Fair – Thursday, 11:30am – 5pm, Great Hall. This is the big one where you get to interrogate ask the LUGES Committee questions about the Society if you want to be a part of the absolute machine that is LUGES.
Fylde Social w/ Senet – Thursday, 7pm – 11pm, Fylde Common Room. Fylde is the best college.
Cartmel Social – Friday, 12pm – 6pm, Fylde Common Room. Fylde is the best college.
Freshers’ LAN – Saturday, 12pm – Sunday 12pm, BNSR 10. Oh yes, it is 24 hours. And oh no, we won’t survive.
