Course Assessments

One coursework assignment (30%) - essay titles will be distributed during term

One assessed seminar presentation (10%)

One end-of-year examination (60%).

These will be posted when the course starts up.

Projects

Projects or extended essays are not a part of the assessment profile for this course.

Seminar Presentations

Seminar presentations will be conducted (possibly in pairs) in class and topics and guidelines will be provided when the course starts up.  The tutor will keep notes on your presentations and will give you feedback on these.  Please note that you will need to submit some kind of record of your presentation - either your Powerpoint slides (printed out), or a handout of some kind.

Examination information

There will be a 2-hour examination and you will be required to answer 2 questions.  More information will follow.
