Myself

Who am I? I’m Jordan, currently a student attending the STOR-i CDT located at Lancaster University as a member of the 2020 cohort.

Prior to STOR-i, I graduated with a BSc in mathematics from the University of Reading with a placement year, worked as an analyst for the International Car Wash Group (I.C.W.G) for the industrial year, where temporarily relocate to Denver, Colorado to complete
the primary project I was responsible for, before continuing to support I.C.W.G remotely through-out the autumn term of my final year, so I am very familiar with the difficulties that come with remotely working.

I look forward to many late nights diving into my research interests in Statistics, and crafting myself into a successful problem-solving toolbox.

What is STOR-i?

STOR-i is an EPSRC funded Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Statistics and Operational Research in Partnership with Industry (STOR-i) located at Lancaster University. They offer a four-year doctoral training programme, opening with a one-year MRes course structured to ensure each of us that embark on the journey possess a strong foundation of core skills to secure success in the PhD.
