photo of AlisonThis module reflects my own research interests in continental philosophy and nature. I hope the course can be treated both as an introduction to continental thinking about nature and as a way in to the continental tradition of philosophy more generally.

I've previously written on Hegel's philosophy of nature, I'm now working on feminist philosophy, and I'm starting to think about a future project on the history of thinking about nature within continental philosophy. So this course offers a first sketch of the areas I want to think and write about as part of that project.
