Thought presentation

Task A - A couple of preliminary examples

accessible / text version of taskLook at the way thought is presented in the two cartoons below, where the thoughts of the character Stef are presented.

In each case, using the categorisation system we used for speech presentation in the 'What happens when speech is presented topic', work out:
   (i) what category of thought presentation you think is being used and
(ii) what effect you think using the particular category has.

Remember to think of the examples as THOUGHT presentation, not speech presentation.

When you have worked out your answer, click on the bubble in each picture to compare your conclusions with ours.
