Women with disability and the barriers for get health services (poster presentation)

Abstract

In our countries in development way, is very dificultly for the people with some disability to get a independent live, mainly in aspects of its health care, where has fights a continuous battle, because are many difficulties to accede to the health services This condition is increased mainly when the people with disability is a women. Have to surpassing many phisical and mental barriers, for get health services: To face the stairs, narrow doors, high stretchers and not adapted are only a litle list of Many insurmountable barrier that they has to , specially paraplegic women and permanent usuary of wheelchairs. They sees denied her right to their care and to receive good services. The institution "Circulate of women with disability", with the support of the project "New Paradigm of Health for the disability People" maked an interesting study that was basing on evidences of a 15 group with incredible results we will share in this event waiting to obtain the support for this sector.
