Formats

The series produces contributions in a number of different formats, including monographs, interdisciplinary co-authored books and edited volumes, potentially also textbook introductions and handbooks. It includes electronic editions (multi-media where appropriate), selected high profile popular paperbacks priced at around £25, hardback research publications at around £60-£100.

Given the innovative empirical, theoretical and methodological approaches in the field, authors are encouraged to utilise the full scope of electronic multi-media formats – e.g. embedding links to external websites and original research materials, including images, video and audio, social media use, supporting non-linear reading practices and potentially facilitating reader networking and sharing practices, for example through a blog that accompanies the book series.
