Task E - Our answer

First of all, a lot of the elliptical sentences are not formally statements, as statements need verbs to give them their propositional form. But we can, of course, usually supply the elliptical 'understood' verb.

S 42 is an exclamation and sentences 53, 70 and 71 are questions, suggesting that these sentences are really thought presentation, not straightforward narration.
