                                                                      	I have now found the peculiar 3rd order window a. oppo-
                                                                      site, both lines being traced by the dentil:  connected
                                                                      closely with the first Byzantine round: and having Byzan-
                                                                      tine bracket capitals in the old house in returned square
                                                                      of Rialto and the Leaf capital found from the Byzantine
                                                                      truncation on the grand canal.
                                                                      I think I can establish the course of this 3rd into the
                                                                      4th very early:  at palazzo Dabololo for instance.
                                                                      That the 4th is to be considered a true Arabic[e]arch in
                                                                      its earliest occrurrence and forms an independent branch
                                                                      running on contemporarily with the 5th.
                                                                      
                                                                      Now the form a. opposite, carrying us back to what I have

                                                                      the Byzantine plain truncated  or that beaved as in palaz
                                                                      Fabier.  I must either pur this as a separate family,

                                                                      rounds, wrought with this roll section.
                                                                      
                                                                      But the form a as on the one hand it becomes the Arabic
                                                                      4th, so on the other, it became the transitional 5th
