STOR-i

The STOR-i Centre for Doctoral Training is a joint venture between the departments of Mathematics and Statistics and Management Science. It offers students a four-year PhD programme in Statistics and Operational Research (STOR) developed and delivered with industrial partners.

Prior to progressing to the PhD, students complete a 1 year Master’s of Research (MRes) degree. This allows students to discover potential research areas and better prepare them for the individual research they undertake during their PhD.

STOR-i CDT is funded primarily by an award from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council. EPSRC is committed to funding exceptional Doctoral Training within the UK. STOR-i is substantially funded directly by Lancaster University, known internationally for its high-quality teaching and research.

In addition, STOR-i receives funding from a range of industry partners offering in-kind and financial contributions. For more info on STOR-i check out the website here. Or watch the promotional video below.
