Maggie is currently the Coordinator of an EC Horizon 2020 project, CUIDAR: Cultures of Disaster Resilience among children and young people and has increasing interest in disaster studies. Her research interests are drawn from the Sociology of Science, Technology & Medicine and include technological change in healthcare such as the development of telemedicine and telecare, and what counts as innovation in health science and technology. She works largely with ethnographic and participative methodologies.
