My work focuses on the politics of translation within the context of the Arab Spring media depiction of political change. The philosophical framework for my research is informed by the works of Derrida, Benjamin and al-Farabi. Their theories frame my investigation of how a deconstructive approach to translation in its three forms, the intralingual, interlignual and intersemtiotic, redefine the concept of Justice in its religious, political and linguistic sense.
