My current research is in comparative philosophy: Japanese and Continental Feminist thought. My wider research interests include history of philosophy, in particular 19th and 20th Century European thinkers such as Hegel, Nietzsche, Freud, Heidegger, Irigaray and Deleuze. Areas of philosophical interest also include Ancient Greek, aesthetics and art, existentialism and religious thought. I am also greatly interested in Buddhist philosophy and Asian philosophy more generally.
