Research Interests

I am a qualitative social scientist with a disciplinary background in social policy and medical sociology. My research interests lie broadly in the areas of disability and mental health, with more specific interests in:

  • Visual and other sensory impairments;
  • Therapeutic communities;
  • Self-harm;
  • Service user involvement.
