On 23 November 2018, Dr Marco Wyss presented, together with Dr Hugo Meijer (EUI), the key findings and arguments of The Handbook of European Defence Policies & Armed Forces during a book launch event at the Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies (IFS) in Oslo. The talk, which was followed by presentations on Russia’s defence policy and armed forces (Professor Katarzyna Zysk, IFS) and Denmark’s and Norway’s defence policies and armed forces (Professor Magnus Petersson, IFS), a comment by Professor Janne Haaland Matláry (University of Oslo), and a roundtable discussion, was – among others – attended by Norwegian defence and foreign affairs personnel and foreign diplomats.
