Alhanoof Alsheddi

PhD student

Profile

Alsheddi's thesis is about the potential conflict of interests between the pregnant woman and the foetus in caesarean section refusal cases. It looks at the situations where the pregnant woman refuses to consent to a caesarean which is needed to protect the well-being of her foetus. It will use Saudi law, which is the law of the researcher’s home country, as a case study.

Her research will include an empirical element by using a questionnaire aims at gaining an understanding of how doctors in Saudi Arabia deal with cases of maternal refusal of caesarean section in practice.
