Hello! My name is Kes, and I joined STOR-i in Autumn 2019, after a Maths undergraduate degree and a year working for the Office for National Statistics. I’m particularly fascinated by the areas of stochastic simulation and optimisation, but I’m interested in a wide variety of statistics and operational research topics.
I enjoy live-action roleplay, and spend some weekends attending and helping out with events around the country. I’m also keen on tabletop, and both play and run games with the aid of Lancaster University Roleplaying Society.
I love to sing and play a variety of instruments, particularly the flute, the oboe, and the lyre harp. I’m currently teaching myself to spin poi.
