Islamic Awareness Week - How Should Muslims Treat People of Other Faiths?'
Date: 21 February 2007 Time: 6.30 pm
Allah has said in the Holy Qur'an: "O mankind! We created you from a single soul, male and female, and made you into peoples and tribes, so that you may come to know one another. Truly, the most honoured of you in God's sight is the greatest of you in piety. God Is All-Knowing, All-Aware" (Holy Qur'an 49:13)
Lancaster University Islamic Society is proud to present Islamic Awareness Week 2007 between 19th-23rd February 2007 (Week 6). During this week, the Islamic Society will be holding numerous events to raise awareness about Islam and issues related to Muslims. All the events are designed for non-Muslims and all are welcome to the events. It is hoped the events will provide a basis for diverse gatherings of Muslims and non-Muslims to increase mutual respect alongside providing a greater understanding of Islam as a religion, way of life and civilisation.
