Histfest 2008 - Postgraduate History Conference

Date: 10 May 2008 Time: 09.00 am

Histfest is a postgraduate conference organised for postgraduates by postgraduates, which is held in the Department of History, Lancaster University. Now in its 13th year, Histfest is a great opportunity to present research and network with students from other universities. Although the conference has no over-arching theme, we particularly welcome proposals that fall into one or more of the following categories: gender, conflict and commemoration; boundaries, war and religion; class, nation and community.

We are pleased to announce that this year's conference is supported by the Royal Historical Society. To view this year's programme, see here.

This event has been organised by Sarah Rose and Marcus Morris. Their contact details are: Department of History, Furness College, Lancaster University, Lancaster LA1 4YG.
