"Is he a Peasant or just Abnormal?"

Mobility for Inclusion - Design for mobility solutions in less resourced settings

Good design is needed in the provision of equipment to disabled people in developing countries. Effective development programmes need to work towards social inclusion of disabled people, despite the many challenges this may pose, and good design can be a key factor in this process. David will discuss how Motivation started with a simple design and turned it into fully functioning programmes delivering quality of life for people with disabilities.

Wednesday 2 December 2009

Drinks reception 6.00pm, followed by lecture 6.30 - 7.30pm
