Services for employers

LUMS Careers can help you raise your on-campus profile, promote your vacancies and engage with our high-calibre students and graduates.

Students and a staff at a careers fair

The LUMS Careers team is dedicated to developing a diverse pool of executive talent through our Career Coaches and Work Related Learning teams. The teams have extensive experience across industry, placements, internships, MBA, company projects, professional development, and more.

Discover how you can participate in one of our scheduled activities for employers or create something of your own to connect with our students and promote your organisation.

Recruit student talent

Discover how LUMS Careers can support your recruitment efforts.

Advertise your vacancies

Advertise your vacancy free of charge to our students and graduates on CareersConnect and on our plasma screens throughout the Management School. Host interviews, assessment centres and recruitment events in our state-of-the-art facilities at our Lancaster campus.

Promote your opportunities

Promote your events, graduate vacancies, schemes, internships and placements via our regular student e-newsletter and targeted student communications. Promote your opportunities in person by hosting a stand in our Management School followed by a skills workshop or presentation. Raise your profile by being a featured sponsor of a flagship event or sponsoring a student society’s programmes and activities.

Careers Fairs

Take part in a Careers Fair where your organisation would have a stand and opportunity to engage face-to-face with students looking for entry-level jobs, graduate jobs, placements and internships. Make a full day of it by hosting a workshop or presentation before or after the fair for an opportunity to connect with students on a more individual level.

Connect with student societies

We work closely with 12 student societies associated with the Management School to collaborate and support employability-related programmes. We can connect you with a student society whose focus aligns with yours to deliver presentations or workshops or host niche business challenges.

Skills Workshops

As an industry professional, you could lead a workshop based on essential employability skills. Design your own bespoke skills session or lead one of the following sessions to help our students develop their skills:

  • Mock interviews
  • Mock assessment centres
  • Practice psychometric testing
  • Tips for networking
