LUMS Executive MBA alumnus, Tom Jones, has been awarded funding from the UnLtd Fund for his enterprise Kids TRI Sports.

The UnLtd Fund is a partnership scheme between Lancaster University and UnLtd which aims to develop an ecosystem of support for social entrepreneurs.

The scheme nurtures social entrepreneurship, helping to turn ideas into reality and make a difference to society.

Kids TRI SportsTom Jones and his team of sports coaches now run a large number and variety of sport sessions through Kids TRI Sports, from football to cricket and many sports inbetween, for schools, clubs and holiday camps. Their goal is to encourage children to participate in sporting activities to help them progress both physically and mentally.

The next 18 months will be vital for Kids TRI Sports, while they grow organically in the local area and rely on support from the community. The UnLtd scheme will continue to help and support the business through its initial stages whilst also looking for more social enterprise opportunities.
