The conference day will divide roughly into two halves, the first offering a range of short papers looking at performance questions raised by individual case-studies, the second considering broader theoretical questions raised by the discussion of medieval playing and its conventions. Speakers include John Marshall (Bristol), Sarah Carpenter (Edinburgh), Thomas Pettit (Odense), and Katie Normington (Royal Holloway, University of London). Over lunch there will be a workshop performance of a recently translated Shepherds Play directed by Elisabeth Dutton.

On the previous day (Friday 24 March) and in the same location there will be a Postgraduate and Early Career Symposium run by the Early English Drama and Performance Network (registration free but space limited). Speakers include Elisabeth Dutton (University of Fribourg and EDOX), Michael Falk (University of Kent), John McGavin (University of Southampton), Andrew Prescott (University of Glasgow), Olivia Robinson (University of Fribourg), and Eila Williamson (University of Glasgow and REEL). FRIDAY DINNER
The annual Medieval English Theatre dinner will take place at Zizzi, 8 Cresswell Lane, Glasgow G12 8AA [MAP] on the evening of Friday 24 March. The cost of dinner is not included in the registration fee, and individuals will be asked to meet their own bills. Please indicate on the registration form (see below) whether you wish to attend.

Registration for the 2017 METh Meeting is now open. Please go to the conference booking centre at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/medieval-english-theatre-conference-2017-registration-30189316057.
The Conference Fee is £37 (including coffee, tea, and lunch, but not including the cost of the conference dinner on the previous night).
Medieval English Theatre will meet the registration fees of the first two postgraduate students to register, so please indicate your status on the application form.
