New project exploring children and young people's experiences of gender

Carolyn Jackson, Emma Renold (Cardiff University), Jessica Ringrose (IOE/UCL) and Sara Bragg (Brighton University) have received funding from the Office of the Children’s Commissioner to undertake a project exploring children and young people’s experiences of gender. The project also involves Chris Marlow, a PhD student in the Educational Research Department at Lancaster University.

As part of a research centre dedicated to the investigation of higher education and its future, Paul Ashwin and Jan McArthur will work on a research project on knowledge and student learning. They will examine how students’ identities are transformed by engaging with knowledge in undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
