Our research centres

The Research Centres act as focal points to exchange, support and develop research but also enhance cross-departmental synergies in methodological approaches. Each Centre contributes to the Department's Seminar Series and holds other Events.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

The members of the Educational Research Department are committed to work towards the advancement of gender equality: representation, progression and success for all.

We are part of the University-wide effort to encourage and nurture gender equality and diversity in Higher Education and we achieved the Bronze Athena Swan award in 2021

Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) committee is working towards achieving the goals set in the Action Plan which was part of our Athena Swan submission. Please contact Dr Carmen Martinez Vargas or Professor Jo Warin for further information about the EDI committee.
