Placing Morecambe

This symposium will present work and reflections produced from two site visits to Morecambe designed to explore this seaside town within current debates on approaches to place and landscape.

Contributors from the Department of English and Creative Writing include: Jo Carruthers and Naomi Kruger and the event will also include new work on Morecambe from novelist Jenn Ashworth and artist Beth Ward.

The event takes place from 12pm on Thursday 13th June in FASS Meeting Room 1. Booking necessary (please email Jo Carruthers), but all welcome.
