After graduating in Management at the University of Mauritius, I wanted to specialise in the field of human resources as I had developed a strong interest in human resources.
The reason I chose LUMS to do my Master programme in Human Resource & Knowledge Management is the fantastic programme content they have for this course and more importantly, LUMS is ranked in the UK’s top four business schools. It is exceptional as it helps students to get an understanding of the roots of human resource and knowledge management and teaching real-world examples and case studies of the 21st century organisations, and this approach differs a lot from other universities in the UK.
Choosing LUMS is one of the best decisions I have made – the programme has definitely helped me to get a better insight into Human Resources and Knowledge Management. Academic lecturers at LUMS are excellent in their teaching and are always there to help you.
The entertainment and sports facilities are excellent; there are multiple social events both on campus and in the city. At LUMS, you have the opportunity to interact with people of various nationalities – both socially and academically. For those who like to travel, there are many enjoyable trips organised by the Graduate Student Association – I particularly enjoyed the trips to the Lake District with its breath-taking views.
I currently work for Arriva North London in HR and know that this Masters degree in Human Resource & Knowledge Management at LUMS is definitely a stepping stone to my future career. I will certainly recommend anyone to LUMS if they wish to have a wonderful learning experience.
