MPhil Economics, Université Panthéon Sorbonne (Paris I)

I decided to study at Lancaster University Management School because of the School’s international reputation and its idyllic location.

The aspect that I really liked about my degree was the atmosphere in the Economics department, where I always felt welcome. In addition, it was a pleasure to be in a class with talented students from all over the world.

The BA Business Economics (Study Abroad) degree also gave me the opportunity to spend a year at the prestigious Richmond University, Virginia which has enriched me in both an academic and a personal sense. This was a challenging experience as I had to get used to the American way of teaching. However, it was definitely worthwhile as it encouraged me to learn about another culture and also allowed me to meet wonderful friends.

As well as doing my degree, in my first year I was the course representative in my economics class. I was also a member of the Economics Society where I went to various interesting talks.

I plan now to continue in education, doing a two-year Masters degree in Economics at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in France.
