Lancaster steps closer to dual degree plan with Egyptian university

Lancaster University Management School welcomed visitors from Egypt University of Informatics as plans form to offer dual degrees.

Professor Reem Bahgat, President of Egypt University of Informatics visited Lancaster University where she met with Deputy Vice Chancellor Professor Steve Bradley as well as staff from the management school and Faculty of Science and Technology.

The visit comes as part of an intended collaboration between LUMS and Egypt University of Informatics which will centre around student exchange and 1+1 (once year at each institution) and 2+2 (two years at each institution) dual degrees which are expected to start in 2024.

Dual degrees allow students to gain 2 Bachelor's degrees or 2 Master's degrees in [usually] less time than it takes to study them separately.

Egypt University of Informatics has a network of highly reputable partners which include Purdue University, the University of Minnesota, and Ottawa University.
