Vintage Festival, Morecambe
- Morecambe Promenade, Morecambe
- Saturday 14th September, 11am
Are you involved in a creative or food business?
‘Vintage by the Sea’ is a one-day festival in Morecambe on September 14th to help celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Midland Hotel. Wayne Hemingway (Honorary Graduate) is bringing his Vintage Festival to Morecambe and is looking for Lancaster graduates to provide additional creative or food businesses to take part in the following areas:
The Vintage Marketplace
This consists of stalls which bring together couture labels with street style from the 1920s through to the 1980s. Items will be sold for anything between £5 and £500.
This element of the festival will include classic vehicles, vintage street theatre, classic ice cream vans, evocative rare film footage and pop-up performances.
Vintage Street Food
The Midland Hotel car park will be transformed into an inspired food extravaganza. Do you run a food business and if so, would you like to add your own vintage flavour to the mix?
Can you help to teach a new skill or revive an old one? From sewing vintage style fashion accessories, knitting, up-cycling, quilting and designing to generally getting creative.
If you would like to be involved and book a space, contact Lauren on the organising team - email@example.com- who will supply further details. Or if you can't take part, why not just come along and enjoy the event. Details as follows:
